On a TC55, behind the Seat above the Toplink for the 3ph, there is a Yellow Plastic filler plug.

Your 33 has the Fuel tank mounted right behind the Seat Correct, it may be located elsewhere on your machine. The Yello Plastic plug should be the same though. Look the entire back (3 Point Hitch area) of the machine over for the Yellow cap.

Any Tc33 owners out there that could give an exact location ????????

Rondapc, welcome to TBN. :)

How do you know you need to add fluid? If you are just curious, you have your answer from cardenharry. You only have one hydraulic reservoir for your HST transmission, hydraulic system, and rear differential assy. Also, right beside the filler plug is a dipstick to check the fluid level. Be careful to not overfill the hydraulic reservoir too much. A quart or two overfull is probably okay, but don't overdo it. If you drain and refill your reservoir, the amount of fluid specified in the owner's manual is too much. It considers an empty reservoir, but in real practice, you cannot drain out all the fluid. Add fluid and check the dipstick. Stop when the dipstick shows full.

Also, you have a power steering reservoir under the hood. It's a black canister with a lid on top. That lid is a filler and also has a dipstick attached for checking the fluid level.

Thank you guys SO VERY MUCH!!! Next question that I forgot to ask:

What KIND of hydraulic fluid do I use? My dad (a mechanic) usually lives
in an RV on the back of our property - he had taken all of our equipment
manuals and put them where he could easily find them. He's in AZ and we
can't fnd anything.

One of the hoses broke and dumped all of the hydraulic fluid.
What kind of hydraulic fluid do we use in the New Holland TC33DA?

Thank you so much!
thanks!!

NH134 from New Holland and any other fluid that meets the NH134 specification. If you're located where you get winter, consider the synthetic fluid from Amsoil.

Mike - is this because it stays thinner in the cold?

That and it's synthetic which has better low temp flow characteristics versus dino oil.
