don't think my dealer has a parts sale.
cmore - I've not seen a dealer yet that doesn't have some kind of Farm Days or Spring open house or "Demo Days" or something between February and middle May - its a slower period for them and they want to introduce new models when the farmers are planning or not in planting season yet. And when those events happen there is almost always a supplies and parts sale. They are real money makers for the dealers because it bumps up cash flows while they are slower on service work. Incidentally - its rather surprising how much money we are talking about because farmers like to stock up so they don't have to stop work and go to town to get supplies and parts when they are busy. And of course they are popular events because its an excuse for some free hot dogs and burgers or to see the product reps..
Also there are often seminars and training on new seed or animal care products or implements. I personally could care less about 75% of that stuff - but while I'm there I pick up new catalogs for implements and talk to the reps. - and get parts cheaper - and then every once in awhile I learn something new without even trying
But you have to make sure you ask if you can be on an email list or watch local advertising.
