I carry larger tools, gas can, chainsaw, etc. in the bucket to an from the job site. I use a bungie cord to secure them in the bucket if needed. The bungie cords themselves are stored in the tool box with the other small things...
My worksite is a few hundred yards at most, from "home base." See BobRip's post about carrying things -- he prepares for major wilderness expeditions... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Fire extinguisher is mounted on the engine cover. Everything else goes in the bucket to the work area.
When I travel away from home with my PT, I usually attach my large light material bucket to the PT, then put my small heavy duty bucket with teeth inside that, then my forks, then my home made soil slicer, then any hand tools that I'll need. That setup becomes a one man wrecking crew!
I have a trailer that I haul the PT on to jobs away from home, like the church/school, ballpark, property and in-laws' house. On that trailer I have a pickup truck tool box exactly like this. It will hold a full length shovel, hand post hole digger, axe, pry bars, tie down chains and binders and my lunch. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
