Where is John Deere's roll guard program

I just checked availability and price through Deere. The original non-foldable rops is no longer furnished. A newer style foldable rops is available under part number RE58257. The price for this is $990.00 which is at dealer cost. If you want a canopy that would be extra and I am sure those are not being sold at dealer cost. We have installed a couple of these in the last couple of years. Very heavy duty units. Shipping weight is listed at just shy of 284 pounds. The original style yellow steel canopy lists at $1957.77 . Shipping weight on canopy is 346 pounds.

This is the part number & price I found for Rollgard from JD AR51416 ROPS - ROPS, ROPS W/SEAT BELT (NO HI-CROP) ADD 805.00 USD I think it will require this kit also AR41761 Hardware Kit - BELT,SEAT /FIELD/ ADD 105.46 USD but this may just be a seat belt only kit

Seems to me that the cost of the ROPS averaged over many years is much cheaper than the medical cost of being a parapalegic in a wheelchair...
