I have a 3 cylinder Farmtrac 665DTC which has the Carraro 12 spd.
I had to split the tractor to repair the hydraulic pump drive gear, and I unhooked the black and red wire that goes to the neutral safety switch.
Now that I have the tractor back together, I've run into a problem: I don't remember where that wire goes- as in I don't remember where the neutral safety switch is.
This is the red and black wire that runs along the firewall with a blue wire running parrallel. My study of the wiring diagram and my other experiments lead me to believe I unhooked it from the neutral safety switch.
I've looked in the parts book for the 665DTC and I can't find the neutral safety switch listed, same goes for the Factory Service Manual.
I know that in general the Neutral Safety Switch is going to be on top of the transmission, but I need more information than that. What does the switch look like ? Where is it near ?
Thanks for your time.
