I have tried for the last few days to check the old club that is now a group and each time I check I get a message that says it is in the process of migrating. The rest of the clubs/groups that I belong to gave a hyperlink that I could click on to get to their new version. When I go to "My Groups" it lists all my clubs/groups but not the Yanmar Tractor Owners Club. It has the Yanmar_Tractor group, the group that has all the reposts. Could someone please post the address of the new group? Thanks.

gone but not forgotten! It got dumped into the highly popular "Groups" format by Yahoo. Now you can read lots of ads while waiting for the posts to SLOWLY come up!!!

I get the same message. Some confusion comes from the fact that the old Yanmar Club was named: "YanmarTractorOwnersGroup". It probably should have been named a club; not a group. Anyway, the old Club doesn't exist anymore. It was converted to the Yahoo Group format - which is where we used to store our achives and a few messages. Our club lasted longer than most. Apparently Yahoo is doing that to get more exposure for their extensive and irritating advertising campaign.
A couple of us saw the end coming last week and were able to get set up over here. I'll post something to the old site so that anyone who missed it will know where to find us.

I know that it was converted to a Group, but when I go to any of the old "club" sites that I used to frequent there is a hyperlink that takes me to their new "Group". I am not getting the hyperlink to the new Yanmar Tractor Owners Group, just the Yanmar_Tractor group. Remember the second club that was formed that had all the reposting. I wanted to check something in the original YTOG club/group.

Brett, yahoo has grown so cumbersome with all the adds and conversion factors, that a simple principal of physics is occurring. It is starting to implode on itself sort of like a black hole. Our club was the last item to be converted before the implosion so it is now the nucleus of the Black hole we used to call home. ( Probably something as simple as to much work not enough time or personnel in reality. )

Looks almost the same, but it's not. All the photo albums have been changed to 'personal', I can get to my pics but I can't add to them because I didn't set up the album that they are in. That album was previously a group album and anyone could add to it. The links we had are still there, but the descriptions might seem to be a little funky.
Oh well........we have a very nice site here. Did anyone else see any ads here? I think I did, at the bottom, but they didn't distract me one bit. I think this site will be more beneficial to me. If I want to see whats going on with the Kubota or Deere folks, I can. If not, well I just click on the Yannie area. My choice.
Thanks Muhammad, for doing this for us. I for one do appreciate what you've done here. Not only for the Yanmar guys but everyone that has a tractor.
