where the heck is the oil dipstick on the max 25?

looked at the manual and then on the engine 4x with flashlight and everything - i cannot find it. i knw in the past it was hard to see and also hard to get that dipstick back into that hole wherever it is.

2nd - had a weird duhdudhduhduh noise all of a sudeen - seemed like the belt - after x amount of time it sounds like it stopeed but something doesnot feel right. ok - sorry for the sketchy description. this camme out of the blue. had a long day and posted in a hurry.

i used to love this thing but after all of these years and minimal hrs i am getting sick of the little and the major issues and shabbya$$ dealers that are far away!

thoiugh it saved me hours anf work - sometimes i think less concern and now less money to have to get in old age to fix this dam* thing.

you have the take the passenger side panel off, its close to firewall 3/4 of the way down. below the coolant bottle.

Wondering that also. I check oil dipstick every 8 hours of work…..minimum. Usually every time i operate it.

thanks for being a wisea$$'$ - i do not run it mmuch lately due to serious heart and leg ops and it has been a while. otherwise i would be doing it more to remember. all the various equipments and also 70's what the hell do you expect. a 20 yr sevant genuius. come on easy and chill - wtf!

If you have found it by now, dip the grab ring in some light paint. That stuff they use to rubberize tool handles works well for this.

yes i did find it - just did not look low enough and also back enough - that just blends right in with all of the other engine stuff.

i may have a bit of mahindra red spray can paint i can give the are a shot. had to find the hole with my finger to get the dipstick re-inserted - boy they do not make it easy. Thank you!

I painted both the dip stick ring and the collar of the opening. It really helps to do this.
