It seems that when i want to haul a rake or shovel to the "back 40" its usually in the bucket or my lap! There has to be a better way. Has anyone rigged a mount?

This is what I use. It is hooked up to my boxblade frame and is removeable if I want. The basket is big enough to hold my chain saw and other tools that I use when going out for a days work. For my hoe's, shovels, weedwacker and other long tools, the top of the basket slants backwards and so far I've only had problems when branches reachout and try to grab one of the items off the basket.

Any pics of your tractor so we know what/where to suggest putting things? You say you have a bucket, one member attached a piece of pvc pipe to loader mount upright to store things in. If you have a rops, you could possibly attach there.

Its a TC-29 (pic of when new). The rops are calling. I do bring it into the garage occasionally so the mount would have to be on the lower fixed portion of the rops.

I'll stick a long handled tool like a rake or broom in my loader cross tube. Only room for one and it won't work for "D" handled tools. Plenty easy though!

I don't have one, but a section of PVC with a more or less closed bottom could be attached to the uprights of the FEL frame with wire ties or such and tools could ride in the "scabbard" like a rifle on a saddle.

the best ive seen yet is an old golf bag bungied to the inside "corner"

above the lower lift arm, between the fender and the top link.

stand various tools on end sticking out the top.

there is a pic floating around the forums but the seach sucks so bad on the site ...good luck finding it.....

The cross tube on the 7308 loader can hold more than one "straight handle" tool. I carry a shovel, breaker bar, and rake at the same time. They usually stay put pretty good but a lot of bouncing can see one work its way out a little, always made it to the work area though.

I "attached" my shovel and rake to the ROPS on my TC40A with bungie cords. The bungie cords I used are called Ball Bungie Cords I believe and were $2 bucks at Tractor Supply. Lay the shovel and rake next to eachother, horizontally in front of the ROPS, and wrap the ball bungie around the ROPS and the tools. Works great. Each of my ROPS posts has a welded bolt hole on it that was used for fender support on earlier models. The tools rest on that.
