It is a type 1 TPH rig, and I would guess it takes minimal hp to drive the spreader gear box and auger.
I run it off of a 3710 and that is way more power than it needs (35 pto hp). I bet it can easily be driven with 10hp. The real issue is what your tractor weighs and is it big enough to handle this thing hanging off the back fully loaded with what ever you want to spread with it. If sand, figure at least 25 puounds a cubic foot.....
I would guess based on its size it will hold as much as 300 pounds of sand...... if you are using it for fertilizer ofrseed the weight will be a lot less.

Sorry, never mind. I asked my bride and she told me I would be a fool to sell it............. sorry for the fire drill. That little broad got more common sense in her little finger than I got in my whole lineage........ I'm going with her advice... best way to avoid a major "I told ya so" event.
