Which heading, I looked under farm+garden for my area, I guess people think saddles, ponies and chickens all belong under that section. I think there should be an animals section, haha!

Craigs List is good though the deals usually are snapped up fairly quickly. I recommend going into Farm heading and then searching in place at top of page for item desired, i.e box blade, plow, etc. You can also go to bottom right of main page and select states and then your state and see all of the cities with a CL forum. You can also search adjacent states and locate cities/areas within driving distance. It is also possible to search for desired items from main page at the top as some sellers list items under other heading like land for sale under barter heading. :D

I just bought a 48" box blade from Everything Attachments and the quality is much better than what the local TSC is selling and was cheaper to boot. I did have to drive an hour to get it from the shipping terminal, but to me the money I saved was worth it.

I had been watching CL but saw very little coming up and what did went quickly.

Over the last 30+ years, I have bought implements from many sources handling generic to top brand equipment. I now only buy top brand such as Land Pride, Woods etc.

Before buying, go look at the piece or one just like it and compare with the other available units. Look at the gauge of the metal, weld quality, gusseting/reinforcement, paint etc.

For me, quality is more important than price though both should be considered.
