Another option would be to have wheels made for it. There are a bunch of wheel shops that will custom make wheels as long as you have the measurements. I've found a couple in the past who were reasonably priced.

You might also check the measurements of rims from later model JD's. Like the 870-970-1070 series.

Heck, the hole pattern spacing and center hole diameter from the current 3000 series might work as well.

Or from other brands/models as well. There's alot of similarity between tractors - just gotta keep your eyes open.

Best of luck.

I have 970 r-1 rims and tires for sale, Jdparts lists M801801 for the 850 if its 4wd, it is a 10' wide rim, mine might be 11". Of course you can go to the dealer, but also try a tire dealer that handles titan tires, they also make the wheels just might have paint yellow though.

Might check the hole pattern on the current 5000 and 6000 series tractors as some of these use the 24" wheels with 11" widths.

I am sorry, but now i see that your friend needs a front rim and its for a turf tire because jdparts shows that the ag rim is available but two piece turf rim is not...so try this link and email or call these companies

I assumed that the rear rim rusted because thats typically the case from chloride leaks.

If you don't have any luck finding the correct rims you can see about repairing the existing rims to get you going in the meantime. It shouldn't be that difficult to build them up around the valve stem hole and redrill.
