I know someone can answer this question! Who is the best and most resonable supplier for Pat's easy Change. Prices I have gotten range between $179.99 and $219. Is there a lower price out there and where is it? Scaper

The only place that I know of is directly from them via their website.

I thought I got mine through Northern Tool, but I may have ordered them from Agrisupply as KML mentions. Note that the ones sold through Agrisupply are the "economy" model and do not have the bolt on top which I think is to hold them open. Instead they have an L shaped piece of metal that slides over to hold them open. The Agrisupply ones do come with the spreader bar which is additional if you buy them from Pat directly. Mine are the "economy" version and they have worked fine for 4+ years. I did order some of the bent washers from Pats directly and they are great people to work with. I would not worry much either way about the spreader bar. I got it, but it was a pain to use, so I just cut a piece of PVC to length and notched it to hold the arms apart when backing in. Eventually I switched the turnbuckles for telescopic stabilizers which work better and eliminate the need for a spreader bar.

Mine has that L shaped bar as well didn't see any other types on pats website, is that a new thing or something they had for a while?

The L shaped piece of metal I am talking about is on the top of the Pat's connectors. When you lift up the T shaped piece that releases the quick disconnect from the tractor, you slide the little L shaped piece of metal under it to hold it up. On the ones that come directly from Greenwell the is what looks like a bolt with a stop nut that I think performs the same function, but I have not actually used it.

The spreader bar that comes with the ones you get from Agrisupply is the same as the one from Greenwell. I just found it hard to get it to the right width and get it to stay there, so just cut a piece of PVC.
