Where to find metric round tube in small quantities.

I need a few inches of 30mm OD steel round tube for a DIY project.
I'm having a hard time finding anything other than 6' length for hundreds of dollars, or stuff out of China with a month delivery time.

Any ideas? I need about 4 inches and I need to be able to make it sharp by grinding out the wall at an angle making a tube chisel of sorts.

Go on google maps, type in syracuse if it doesn't pop up immediately, then type in metal supplier. I see a few of them there.

Sounds like you might just need a round die or punch. Search on "round steel rule die" or similar. Companies make stock sizes of these for not much money. Here's a couple:

MSC online will also have some sizes of round punches that may work.
