Where to find used John Deere tractor parts?

[two many tractors]

I have a John Deere Model 40 tricycle tractor, it sit outside in the weather for several years. Decided I was going to restore it. well got the motor running good but the shifter in the transmission cover not working right, I suspect the little balls and springs corroded and not moving. May need to find a good cover with shifter. was wondering where to look for a good used one? Thanks for any help.
