Where to find Yanmar in Louisiana

Looking for YM 2500 or YM 3000 in Louisiana. Does anyone have a list of reliable dealers?

Buddy Manning with Manning Enterprises on Hwy. 10 in Franklinton sells Yanmars...........He isn't what I would call a "dealer", but he can get parts and the tractors he sells are reasonable.......Honestly, his prices are too.......Even on his implements also..........I forgot what his number is though.............I'll get back to ya' with it.

He gives a 30 day parts warranty.


I know that you are looking for a dealer in LA.......BUT.........Liberty Tractor in Liberty, Mississippi sells Mahindra, Agco, and used "gray market" Japanese tractors..........I live near Livingston, LA and Liberty is about 80 miles from me.......Been there several times, but never bought nothin'......Very nice and professional place...................They recondition their tractors, as needed, and they do give some type of a warranty, but I don't remember exactly what............They also have/can get parts for anything they sell.

Matter of fact, I called them about a couple weeks ago on a YM3000..........They said they have one ready and the price is $5000.00............I don't know if they have sold it yet though..............Their number is 601-657-8255.

If I think of anything else, i'll let ya' know.

Thanks for the info you sent on Manning Enterprises and Liberty Tractor. Please let me know if you hear about any other dealers in the area. By the way I don't live very far from Manning Enterprises, I live near Loranger, La.

I have been to Manning's place on Hwy 10, he has a decent selection and prices seem reasonable. I was gonna buy a YM2000 from him until I found a used Zennoh ZL1501 at a price I couldn't pass up. You may also wanna try these 2 places:

Yes, Hills Equipment (about 8 miles from me) is starting to sell a few good looking "original" Yanmars. Mr. Huey is high, in my opinion, on his tractor prices though. But he is pretty reasonable on his implements.

The good thing about Manning Enterprises is that they are a member of the Used Tractors Dealers of America. You know you are getting a tractor from a dealer that has tractors with upgraded safety features and is linked to other dealers who can provide parts and service. Look for the UTDA certification decal on the tractors.
