Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of cat 1 A-Frame struts as shown in the attached .jpg? Exact size does not matter other then they fit my BX24 3 point hitch. No paint/primer required, just bent correctly and with lift and top link pin holes. BTW, is A-frame strut the correct name for these?

PS: Cheap $$ is good...the other cheap, not so good

I'd go to a blacksmith or welding shop.

That is an equipment part basically just 2 lengths of 1/2" X 2" flats bent at correct locations with a couple of drilled holes.

Any small shop could make that in about 1/2 hr.

Yep, but "custom" work normally means $$$. I was hoping to find someone pumping these out in a production mode and might have them in stock.

I doubt they would cost much to make. If you have a vice, hacksaw and a drill you can make them yourself. Cut to length, mark and drill your holes and then clamp in a vice and bend away. Besides, it's alway's a good reason to buy more tools. :) If you have measurements I could make them for you. A couple bucks and shipping is all I would need. It's only about 3 minutes of work and a piece of scrap iron.

If you feel like helping the economy out of recession, go to your nearest Bush Hog dealer and order a set.

Ag Supply has them.

I built a set for a friends box blade. After you figure your time & material, I would buy a prefab set that has also been hardened. I thought it to be a 30 min job too and I do have a 12 ton press, but had to heat the flat bar to bend in my press. I did use 3 X 3/8 flat bar to build them really heavy duty.

Ill have to dig up the artical i have about building a press brake fixture for your shop press to bend up to 1/4" flat stock.

would be perfect for this kind of DIY project.

Buy???
What's that mean? Never heard of "buy".
The one I made for my box blade cost less than four bucks and a bit of O/A. If it had been winter when I made it,I would have just heated the steel up in my shop stove.
