Where to mount rear LED Flood lights?

I bought two TUFF LED 27 watt flood lights to mount on the rear of my Curtis hard cab on my JD 1070, and am looking for opinions on where I should place them. I'll eventually be using the tractor (as a backup for my truck plow) for moving snow with either a rear blade or PTO snowblower. They could go on the rear fender which would slightly block the rear taillight, a little inboard from the fender which would narrow the light beam, or my latest thought is to mount them near the roof on the cab and get the max height and spread.

Any of these locations would work, but before I put the time into the job I thought I'd ask for advice from those who have done the same thing.

Mine are mounted on all four corner at the top.. two in the front and two in the rear.. two switches,, front and rear.. but they came that way factory installed.. they took the guess work out of it. plus they can be swiveled in any directions. Lou

Thanks Lou66. I already have two facing forward on their own switch, and have found a good spot up high on the rear of the cab. Now my only decision is to either wire them into the same circuit so they all come on at once, or add another circuit so I can have my choice of front or rear or both.

Hay guys i got one mounted on a retractable extention cord real mounted to a steel plate and light on a 5lb magnet,works as a portable drop light.

Funny, my 4 pack of Tuff's just arrived today. I am reading this as I break them out of the box. I am going to locate them on my ROPS two forward and two rear. No help for you I know but now I need to figure the wire routing and switches. Keep posting on install especially switches used.

I've decided to mount my two rear floods to my ROPS. There's already threaded holes located near the top (factory holes because I see them on other identical tractors) and using an L bracket the lights will be in a good spot. I'm going to run them in a parallel circuit to their own switch located next to the switch for the two front additional sealed beams. That way if I want to run the tractor down the road at night and want the additional front lighting for visability, I don't need to have the rears floods on and confuse and blind other drivers. I don't anticipate running on the road much if at all, but better to do it right the first time around.

So, I am planning to add lights to my L3010. I am thinking about adding two 40 LED spot lights, 1 forward and 1 rearward on the left hand side. This way there is only one bracket to install and one section of wire. Opinions? Thoughts?

I am sure OP will be ahead of me on this project but I will. Got some more travel in front of me before I can get on it. Will try to take some progress pics. Gotta find a couple switches first and probably ought to look at potential mount locations.
