I might have to run it off of the rear PTO, but how do I keep both PTO shafts available? Any of the back to front PTO gearboxes seem to have no rear PTO output shaft access after it is installed. I doubt my tractor will run both at the same time, but I would like to be able to put the sprayer on and run it when needed. I would leave the mower mounted on the front basically full-time. My grass rarely gets above 6-8", so it isn't too bad to move through it.

Definite maybe. My experience with Cases started with the 30 series which is the next newer ones. The 30s and up drove the pto shaft directly off the end of the crank. If the 600 was the same, the ratio might be acceptable, but as I recall the old Cases were pretty slow running engines. I didn't find much on "Case 600". IF memory serves correct, my 830 gas tractor pto rpm was at 1800 engine rpm.
Would something like this work?

I think it is engaged when you move the small fork into the housing. I wonder if I can drive the small splined shaft with the crank, actuate it with a linear solenoid and use that to power my front PTO?

Sounds like I am on to something. Do you know if that fork is what engages the PTO?

The 600 looks like it is rated for 1500 RPM. Might be too fast of a box for my 2000 RPM engine. Are there other Case tractors or manufacturers that made similar style PTO gearboxes?

Here's a video showing the 3pt hydraulic power pack, driving a front mounted mower. The power pack is a regular 3pt implement that connects to the pto with shaft, like any other pto-driven implement. You'd have to take it off the 3pt to put the sprayer on, but that's not hard to do. Of course you'd set up the hoses with quick connects so they can stay on the tractor.

Many companies make these. All you'd need to do is put the correct sized motor on the mower.
