Where to start?

I am currently beginning my search for a new tractor to operate on our new 200 acre "hobby farm". Trying to decide btween a Kabota 5700 and whatever would be comparable in the JD line. Interested in also knowing what I should expect to be a "good deal" on a M5700 with a front loader.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Must be quite a hobby. What kind of hobby farming are you planning to do? Can you fill in your bio a little to help us along?

Plan to keep approx 75 head of black angus cattle--currently have 25 (our first year just getting started) Have a small house on the property that we rent out. Plan to just raise some cattle, move hay and bush hog and try to get away from city life

75 head of Angus sounds like a pretty serious hobby.

Wow.. a 200 ac hobby farm... I'g get a big mamer jammer tractor to handle that. Or at least a new compact with bells and whistles, and an old 60's-80's model ag tractor in the 80-130 hp range that stayed parket under a tarp untill needed. Most olg ag tractors go in the 3000-6000$ range.

Then spend the bulk of your money on a decent 30ish hp decked out compact.
