Where's the best place to buy 2 AWG (for winch)

I found that Lowe's does carry the braided copper wire cable. I had to buy the 00 grade for the 100' I wanted for my 220v stick welder. Another possibility is to check with your electric company; see if they have any copper wire of the size you need which they would be willing to sell you. Of course, they may have some end pieces off a roll which can't be used for anything else and they "might" give it to you -you won't know till you ask. Good luck.

I'm trying to upgrade my winching capabilities and wanting to be able to run a 12K HF winch off the back of my F350.

The best price I've found for 2AWG cable seems to be Temco on Amazon at $92 for 2 30' pieces.

Any other suggestions?
