Yes they are replaceable Pin on Teeth. I think RD might be thinking of the 1500 lb bucket model that Long has. This is Long's 3500 lb bucket model.

Made my own. Design much like shown. Used 3/8" X 2" flat bar and ordered shanks and pin on teeth and welded the set in about 2 hrs.
I spaced the teeth about 8-10" apart. That was about 5 years ago and my total cost was in or around $100. for my 48" bucket. Works so well that they were never removed.
Only downside is grading and scooping sand on an asphalt surface, for grading I added a hefty angle to the backside of my bucket and grade backwards dragging on the bucket 'heel'.

Harry set me up with a nice 72" Piranha and I love it but I found out he was a Tennessee Vol's fan but I still trust him because everybody has faults. Roll Tide.

I absolutely love my PTB on my little BX. I can't speak though for how effective it might be on a larger machine but I like how it scoops gravel, dirt, etc. and can dig. I suppose if you are doing some extreme digging, more aggressive teeth might do better but the PTB is a quality product, easy to install, and very very durable. Mine looks great after 200 hrs of digging packed glacial till and scooping lots of crushed rock.

I should add I don't have any association with BXpanded.

ATI Attachment Technologies Inc. Pin on teeth (roll pin securement) have them for my big tractors, no issues.

I did the same thing. Harry made up a 65" for my TYM bucket. Best attachment investment I have made so far!! Great product, service and fast delivery too.

Check several tractor dealers.we just picked up a wr long tooth bar for my friend's Kubota 50hp tractor for $150.00 . We checked a kubota dealer that sold the tooth bar with a new tractor. Dealer said customer didn't like the tooth bar for back dragging , and had the dealer remove it. I think the dealer told us that it had only been used once or twice. It was just like brand new ! Every place we checked,the same tooth bar was about $500.00. I told my friend it was a steal at $150.00 !
