Which Kubota Tractor to buy?

OK, I know this question probably has been asked a thousand times but here I go
I have pretty much decided that i want a kubota but deciding is giving me a
headache. I know asking the question "which tractor is right for me" is a
subjective question but please help me out a bit. I'll give you as much information
as I can.

I am in western Washington state I have two parcels one is near my home
and one is 3hrs away. The first one is 5.5 acres, mostly flat, has one little hill on it
(about 25' rise in elevation but has one side is gently sloping. I also have some
wetland on it (about 1/4 acre) I has a small flat pasture area but mostly brush and
trees. I need to fence it to put goats on it to eat the brush. Eventually i would like
to have a small market garden on it, raise pastured poultry on it have the goats.
Initially i need to do some ground work like build a road and put in two culverts.
After that probably use it to pull out the chicken tractors, use a roto tiller to
prep the garden areas, and maybe to pull a no till seeder and manure spreader

the second piece is 5.0 acres and is all flat with a small wetland area also.
will be building a fence and doing some minor ground work i may use it for hay
or pasture for the goats in the summer. I also have to build a pad for my storage
shed.

Try to drive and sit on as many tractors as you can. A FEL is very practical and also 4WD. The following website will provide specs. Best wishes. TractorData.com - information on all makes and models of tractors

I would look at a 30-40 HP unit with FEL...
You just need to figure out what features you want with the tractor and your budget...

Hey neighbor! Good luck on your decision. Bigger than my BX for sure... but sounds like you need it to be easily transportable. I say that just cause you might want some more weight. Will you be mowing though? All that said, I am amazed at what my little BX will do. I know the great group here will steer you right. I also know many will say go as big as you can afford but these 4WD, HST, tractors are truly amazing at what they can do. Once you are in a land maintenance mode, I would not want a tractor bigger than needed for cost and nimbleness reasons. I would guess a high end of the B or low end of the L's max. My :2cents:

Have you visited any dealerships, or looked at any tractors yet?

Just FYI, two new threads on which new tractor to buy, within half an hour of one another is generally frowned upon. You're going to get answers in this thread, then answers in the thread talking about the L3400s, and it will really confuse people trying to help. R,
