I am looking for a new tractor and can’t decide which one to buy. I have narrowed it down to the three below. I already have a TN75D 4WD with a loader so I am not looking for one tractor to do it all. I want to use the new tractor primarily for working a garden, (planting, harrowing, and cultivating). I may also use it in the hay field if possible and maybe with a finish mover in the yard. I am still thinking about a loader. I know it would be useful just don’t know if it would be worth the extra money right now. If I don’t get it now I will later.

1. TC33D gear model
2. TC35 gear model
3. TC40 gear model

I would like to hear from anyone that has one of these tractors any what types of things that you do with them. Thanks for the information

Based on limited information my personal opinion is the TC33D is on the upper side for working gardens and finish mowing. The weight is up there.

The TC35 and 40 I believe you put yourself in a larger classification tractor and would be very much on the heavy side for mowing and gardening.

As far as planting, harrowing and harvesting the TC33D is on the small side.

I guess I would go with the 33 and use your larger tractor for you larger field work.

You know I probably really confused you here?? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have a TN75D with SS & 33LA loader, and a TC33D hydro & 7308 loader both with QT. buckets, and forks. The tc33d has a 72" mmm. I would go for the TC33D because it is one foot nerrower than the 75 you can get in tighter places. I dont have SS on the 33 but would get it next time. I love the hydro on the 33 and would recomend you think about that as a option. Love them both. hence BOOMER ONLY BETTER on the TN75D Good luck on your choice. Dave

Murph,
Thanks for your reply. I don't know that I will be using a finish mower that much or at all, it was just a thought. It will mostly be used as a garden tractor. The TN75D that I have is to wide for my planters. However I use it with a to pull a 7 shank chisel plow, 3 row bottom plow and a 12' HYD cutting harrow to get the fields ready to plant. I bought a Ford 1900 new in 1982 and I liked its size. I guess what I am looking for is a tractor that is about the same size as the 1900.
