I have an LG Montana 4540 compact tractor with quick disconnect FEL bucket. It has a lever you pull that dis-engages pins and allows you to drop out the loader from the bucket.

I'm wanting a set of quick attach pallet forks for my FEL. What choices do I have? I want good quality, but I probably won't use them too often, so justifying the cost will be hard, price matters.

I only know of one company so far that makes a quick attach Pallet fork for my FEL. That is Aldomi. The best I've been quoted so far is $495 + shipping. What other choices do I have? Does anyone have experience or opinions on the Aldomi Pallet forks? Is this a good price or can I do better?

Thanks,
James

Take a look at Paynes Forks. The are good quality. www.paynesforks.com I have a set of small ones for my BX and we've used them several times to unload stuff from delivery trucks that didn't have a rear lift gate. Very nicely put together.

If you have a standard skid steer quick attach on your FEL check out Markham Welding www.markhamwelding.com . Their pallet forks are well made, reasonably priced and the service is superb.

Take a look at the Woods Dura Forks with the 42" forks.

Quality and good big bulk head for load protection.

Not the cheapest List $950 buy for aroung $800.

I have a pair of paynes like scrounger mentioned. I got them used at an auction I think they are the "medium duty" forks. They work well for me. Like you said I don't use them often, but it's nice to know they will be there when I need them. I think I paid $250.00 for them.

I got mine from Horst welding with my JD 430 loader, don't know if your quick attach is the same as JD.
They are Rated 3000#, 42" forged tine, not cheap but high quality construction ( $800.) also with high back which is very important.
You will use the forks more than you think, excellent for brush, logs, just used mine yesterday to take a large broken limb down, protecting the smaller trees below. they do have a web site www.horstwelding.com

The forks form Horst are pretty impressive but more than I'd ever need. I like the simple attach and detach of the Payne and the fact I can store them in a very small area.

I do like the Horst light duty plow. I sent them an email to see how it actually attaches since I'd love to have one on the loader arms.
