Hello,
I have a question concerning the quick hitch sytem(s). I am currently ordering a mini loader with some attachments from a company in China (it was not my intention to start a discussion about the pros and cons to buy chinese equipment - I see it as an experiment...). I will also order other attachments from another company. For the coupling system I was recommended to opt for the SKID STEER UNIVERSAL QUICK HITCH system, since there would be more attachments available for better prices. I know, some hate it, but most users get along very well with it and if you keep it clean it should not make too many problems...I have learned that SSQA is supposed to be synonymous to Bobtach or Bobcat Quick Connection. The companies I want to buy from both pretend to have this system on their attachments. But when I compared the technical drawings of their couplings I found some important differences in some dimensions, which might jeopardize compatibility. Doing an internet search I found that under the same coupling name there are a whole bunch of more or less similar systems out but that differ in important dimensions and angles. :confused2: Does anyone know what is the "real" Skid Steer Quick Hitch standard? Or at least, what is the most common? Where could I find a technical drawing that shows the dimensions, angles and positions of features?
I have to find a solution quick, because the loader and attachment manufacturers needs to know the final decision on coupling measures...
Any help is welcome...
