I need a repair manual for my JD7800. I see there are two choices, a tractor repair #TM1500 or a tractor operation & test #TM1501. What's the difference between the two?

My advice is go with TM1500: it sounds like the Technical Repair Manual. That is - if you need a detailed manual - that explains how to dismantle, adjust and repair your tractor.
If you just want the manual that explains how to operate and make minor maintenance adjustments (oil, filters, etc.) to your machine - get the book that has "operation" in the heading.
