Which Semi-mount plow for my Ford 7710 II FWA?

I want a moldboard plow to pull behind my Ford 7710 II with FWA. From my research, it seems that a 4 bottom semi-mount plow might be a good choice. Also, from my research, it seems that different brands of plows utilize different types of draft control (3 pt arms vs top link). In your opinion, what would be the OPTIMAL plow (brand and model) for my tractor? Thanks!

I assume "semi-mount" moldboard is 3 pth mount. But on 3 pth the draft control is in the tractor not the implement. I have been told some tractors use the 3 arm to control the draft. No idea how they do it.

Draft control sensing is determined by the tractor design, not the plow. Your 7710 uses top link sensing, so a semi mount plow will not send any draft signal to the hitch valve. I would look for an IH or CaseIH plow, or a plow built by White and sold as a White, Ford, or Case. All would be good choices if not worn out or abused.

Kvernland is also a good brand of plow. Soil type & bottom width determines the size of plow you can pull. I would guess that 4 - 16's is correct but in some areas you could possibly pull 5 or only 3.

I have a 3 bottom semi mount. I just set the depth wheel and let it go. the draft doesnt work with only the 2 arms in use draft is on the top link

Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't companies make converters to move the draft sensing to the top link for semi mount plows?
