I am looking to buy a Kubota l3200 , I will be using it on several different kinds of ground, mowing grass and moving dirt in hilly woodlands, do I need AG tires or can I get by with industrial tires?
Thanks for the great reply's also could the ag rims be widened more than the ind ?
Suggestions have much to do with ancillary considerations. For instance, loaded industrials create a different tractor than when non filled (traction wise). Any grass stuff at all would abate the considerations for ags unless you are cutting long grass in a field otherwise a manicured lawn will get mucked up in short order with ags. If your location of "ms" means Mississippi, then snow should not be worrisome but mud could be. A set of chains will cure a lot of woes concerning industrials and their short falls in the sticky stuff.and you would not bring your tractor on the lawn in wet season anyway. The only ags I have seen that do not tear up a lawn are the radials which are about 3 times the price of regular bias ply tires. In your description, industrials are the way to go in my opinion.
