Buying Advice Which tractor

After reading all the post from my tier 4 post. I have decided to look for a tier 3 or keep the NAA. My three are Kabota B2620, Mahinda Max 28 or a Yanmar EX 2900.I do not have a problem with the way the controls where layed out. I think with time you can get used to any tractor controls. All three are metal body work. I like the Yanmar and Mahindra five year warrenty. Also Kabota and Yanmar make there tractors they are not farmed out.Any one have any info on these choices. I know keeping the NAA will be the cheapest way to go, but there are a lot i do not like. The hydrolics is from a crank mounted pump. There is a bearing going bad where the tractor will need to be splite apart at a costs of $1200.00. And it is sixty one years old and I do not know what will go wrong next.

I chose the b2650 as it is also tier 3 , has plenty of power , good ground clearance , my first hst so that will take a little to get use to the whine which I am sure is much worse in a cab than an open station . I guess much will depend on what you are going to do with the tractor and a good dealer nearby.

I will be using the tractor to mow 2 1/2 acer field and rotilling gardens and other odd jobs around my five acers.

Any of the b series tractors should serve you very well . I was amazed I could pull a 6 prong cultivator through some pretty heavy soil in my garden with mine with no problem. I have a 5 ft. rotary cutter that it can cut 3 ft. plus hay with it . I would suggest a 4 ft. unless your ground is flat and smooth as the 5 ft. is a stretch , not so much for power but the weight, although that is what the dealer said to use . I have 30 acres to mow so have a larger tractor for most of that as it is rough in places . My pto hp is 19.5 which is plenty . I had an old L235 kubota which had the same eng. hp as my new one and that would handle a 4 ft. roto tiller with ease .

what are the primary tasks you will be looking at doing with the tractor? drive way lengths rock/dirt, mowing (finishing mowing) bush hogging (rotatory cutter) PHD, (post hole digging) FEL (front end loader) work? culvert work? trenching? using tractor to help build a shed or house? any live stock taking care of? landscaping? moving rocks? and sort of "field work" from rotatory cutting fence lines and like? to pulling wagons out of the field? dealing with firewood? felling trees and moving them to better location to cut on them? getting a better ditches on driveway? dealing with septic tank or septic field issues? regrading the yard? any major hills you need to deal with? vs flat ground? snow plowing / pushing moving?

what type of primary implements you are wanting for sure? FEL (Front end loader?) 3pt rear blade? box blade? PHD? rotatory cutter? potato plow? tillage work ? actual 3pt hitch tiller? or bottom plow, discs, and like tillage?

for odd jobs that require bigger tractor or unit are you just going to save stuff up, and then do a major weekend warrior and get the jobs done via a rental machine? such as a mini excavator or simply just a larger rental tractor / unit?
