Which trailer for for this truck

I have a 2009 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4 with the max trailer pkg. It has a towing rate of 10600#. What would be a good size trailer to match up with this truck. It is rigged for a gn. The truck has a 400hp motor with the six speed trans and the tow haul feature. I would like to get the most trailer without hurting the truck. I mostly haul feed and use it as a utility trailer.

You will get the best ride with the GN but can carry the most load with the bumper pull since the trailer will weigh a 1000# less on average.

How do you like the new engine and tranny package? I know a few guys with the and love them empty but do not like them nearly as much as the old 4 speed tranny and the 6.0 for towing. They say it hunts for gears way too much.
