Which would you buy: a new 60in howse economy cutter, shear pin for $725 or a used 60in woods dixie cutter m5 for $500. The woods isn't beat up and looks to be in good shape. Thanks for the help.
Based on my experience, I'd go with the Woods if it's in good shape. Ask to see it running if possible to check for vibrations. I've sold a few rotary cutters (to buy larger) and it's not unusual for buyer to request to see it hooked up and running -- easy to do with 3 ph.
