whine while roading

On a 9282 New Holland tractor while roading I have a whine basically only when its not pulling much , like going down a small hill or any time its not pulling , is this normal , this is my first season running this tractor . THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Tractors often whine when 4-WD is inadvertently engaged on the road.

it's a full time 4wd, just guessing its a little play in ring and pinon. you could pull drain plugs and look for excessive metal
