I started this thread for all of those who have taken my thread "What teams will play in the next Superbowl?" off topic and may get it shut down. Please post your anti-NFL remarks here instead of the other thread.

You can't be referring to the " no taunting" flag in the Colts/Panther's game last week. ;)

I've never been a big sports fan, but I've become even more turned off than usual. The same for all television. I got sick of watching any of the olympics because the commentators became more concerned with pointing out diversity, gender identity and mental health than the actual competitions. And Johnny Weir??? When someone has to play the "look at freaky me" card, it just screams a mental health issue to me.

The same with watching any football last year. Kneeling players, politically correct commercials, blah, blah, blah. I watch a sporting event to relax and escape from things for a little while. Now they've just become another venue to try to jam opinions and social change down our throats. I'd rather cut the lawn with a pair of scissors.

Being the OP is from Louisiana and assuming he is a Saints fan, THIS is the reason why I'd stop watching

Nah, no pass interference because it's clear the defender was looking for the ball...

WORST BLOWN CALL EVER. I'm not a Saints fan, but I can relate.

I'm certain Bill Vinovich and his family gets down to La for Mardi Gras from time to time 🤣

The only reason I watch (Redzone only on Sunday) is because my family still does Fantasy Football (going on 15 years now) and it is a way for me to stay in touch. As far as the political garbage....no place for it.

...I do not agree with everything CK sees in his life (because I have not walked in his shoes), but given the fact that he believed in something and threw his career (and a lot of money), I can respect that...

Sorry but trying to make kapernick some type of martyr is ludicrous...!
The guy was an idiot that did not think things through (or was incapable of thinking things through, which is more likely the case)...
At the onset the publicity gave him encouragement that which inspired copycats...
It (kneeling) gave them ill gotten power they (kneelers and sympathizers) had no idea how to handle and through their own stupidity it all backfired on them...

kapernick has nobody to blame but himself and his stupidity...and he deserves what he got...

It’s the whole hatred of cops and hatred of America that most people in this country do NOT identify with.
In the previous thread, painting someone patriotic for Kapernick instilling so much hatred in people that purely innocent people DIED in cities across America and cops were killed just doing their stinkin job is NOT patriotic.
That is unnecessary murder and mayhem. Loss of businesses, property and life.

I LOVE football.
I HATE the NFL!

Not making him a martyr of the man by any means.

I can just respect a man for putting himself in the crosshairs of the fickle american public and losing his career (and a boat load of money) over something that he apparently believes in.

People forget that he originally sat on the bench, but thought it was more respectful to actually kneel.

The irony many people may not realize is that his parents who he loves are white.

Save the kneeling for our savior.
I notice while he was doing all the protesting about how much our country is racist and how much our country sucks, we are over run at the border with people willing to die to get here.

So which one is it, Colin’s boy?
