Who makes Farmtrac tractors?

I saw several used Farmtrac tractors on a dealer lot recently. I looked at several of them and they were made in at least three different countries. I believe eastern european countries. Are they grey market or what?

Actually they are LG a Korean brand. If you look closely at the grill around the headlights, you'll see the LG logo.

Farmtrac's compacts are manufactured by LG of South Korea. LG also makes compacts for Montana and Tafe. I know that some of the larger Farmtrac's are manufactured by Escorts of India. They originally manufactured Fords larger line up in the 80's. They also have a couple of the larger tractors that are manufactured in Romania. If you look at the Farmtracs that look lile the old 2000/3000 Fords, those are the Escorts. I think that the other ones are the European tractors.

Farmtrac is an Indian company. They use several different tractor manufacturers. With there utility tractors some are made in Eastern Europe and some are made in India. The ones that look like older Ford tractors are the Indian ones. I believe Farmtrac (Long Agribusness) owns the old Escort tractor factory in India, which use to produce Ford tractors. Possibly for local markets only. I am not an expert on this. As for the compacts LG Cable makes them in Korea manufacturer of cell phone, appliances, tractors etc. They (LG) build the same compact tractors for Tafe and Montana. Although only Montana imports there Cab tractors and a few other models. They are decent tractors and parts are should be easily available.

Some of the bigger Farmtrac models are produced in old Ursus factory in Warszawa, Poland. Smaller has Polish gearboxes ...

Interesting ZJ_HR,
I wonder if it depends on the destination country where the products are made, and with what components?

Yeah, those versions of the FarmTracs are not the versions the US recieves. The ones we recieve have the older "ford" look to them, and CAB models are not available yet.
