Mowing Who makes John Deere v belts??

I inspect the belt on my 60 inch MMM every year, and after 18 seasons I am still on just the second belt. That first one after many years lost a chunk of the "V". They have both been JD belts, the original and the replacement. When the time comes I will again buy from JD.

I would suspect a low bidder is involved if the Belts are outsourced.

I think, I heard they own a distribution company the sells " Pic" belts. Not sure on that? Ken Sweet

That is "pix" belts. Is through a&i which is either owned or partially owned by JD. They are not horrible quality but are not quite as good as the oem. Used to use them quite a bit for big banded belts on beet diggers as the savings was just too much to ignore for those big guys. They can also provide kevlar in a lot of instances as well but then there goes the price savings.
