Who makes the best Auger Bit replacement?

I'm looking for about a 9" auger bit to go with my 3pt PHD. We've got some slate type soil here that's a pain in the butt sometimes. I don't want to spend more than $175 for a bit.

Among the replacements I've found are:
TSCHowse brand from NortherntoolGaEquipment
NorTrac from Northerntool

By the way, the auger I have now is taped and useless. I'm in the middle of a job and need another bit--the MOST important part is a bit with strong aggressive replaceable teeth.

I doubt its the best, but the only one I've used and had no troubles with is a Speeco 9" on my Speeco mdl 65 auger. It has replaceable cutting teeth and tip you require. We don't have slate here, but I routinely drill dried clay that has almost turned into adobe with ease.

I believe the TSC "county line" brand is speeco. It looks identical. I paid about $130 for the bit at Atwoods, if I remember right.
