Who Makes The BEST Vacuum Whole House Attachments?

Background
I have to replace the hose on our Electrolux whole house vacuum system. It will be $300 JUST for the hose. I can buy a NuTone attachment kit CK 350 for $265 which includes the hose, hose cover, rug and bare floor heads and some other small attachments. The Electrolux vacuum power unit lasted 1 year and the motor died, replaced under warranty, that motor lasted 2 years and died. We replaced the power unit with a NuTone CV 450W. The Nutone unit is 7 years old and still going strong.

So if I have to replace the hose and I am going to buy an entire new hose and attachments, so who make the best unit for cleaning rugs and floors?

NuTone....

I was just at Home Depot looking for some fittings and was told that they discontinued them. Then went to Lowe's and they discontinued them also. Checked eBay and found quite a lot of NuTone vac items listed at good prices. At least you don't have to worry about fraud on these pieces..... they don't ship vacuum cleaner parts from the Netherlands!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.... do a search using the words ..... "Nutone Vacuum". Just don't bid against a guy named "Junkman" or any deviation of "junkman"..... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hayden is probably the best (under the Hayden name). They also make systems for other brand names, possibly with what may be called lesser specifications for lower price.

Beam is supposed to be pretty good also.

Go here Beam Power Teams

Pick out the one you like the best. If you see the MSRP I can get you that product for MSRP less 35% or use a .65 multiplier. The warranty on them is two years. You would have freight also.

This is just if your interested buying from such a long distance.
