Good looking design on the add that popped up. I was wondering who and where the tractors are made? I could do the research but i thought i would just ask.

I assume you are talking about the Bobcat compact tractors they are now offering.

If so, those are made by a South Korean company called Daedong which has been building and selling those tractors in the US since 1986 under the name Kioti. Kioti and Bobcat tractors are one in the same but the attachments (loaders, backhoes, mowers, etc...) are different. Kioti makes their own line of attachments where Bobcat uses other manufacturers like Rhino.

I have been very pleased with my 2006 Kioti CK20HST and just turned 400 hours on it with not one problem.

i was told that Kiota tractors are actually Kubotas........Deadong bought all their old tooling ....so if you have a kioti and need something in a pinch....look at mid 80's kubota parts, should be the same and you might even get a deal from a kubota dealer happy to get an old dust covered part off the shelf...lol

This is so wrong it should be deleted before any one accidentally sees it and actual believes this load of crap. :mur:

Back in the 80's there was some exchanging of parts (transmissions I believe) but that was it and is long long ago. Daedong is not associated with Kubota one bit and Kioti is the US affiliate that resells the tractors.

my humblest apologies Dmace..........i was simply repeating information i believed {from the guy who told me} to be true. I in no way want to mislead people into thinking kiotis are old kubota technology if they are not.

i do very much like the Kioti product, having owned a JD [that i hated} and a NH boomer that was adequate in most applications at best. I ran a 40 hp kioti with a full cab and was very impressed. and at 2/3rds the cost of a comparable Kubota you can't go wrong.

another friend of mine has a 22 hp Mahindra that out performs my old 35 hp boomer

im a CAT / Kubota guy up until now so please excuse my ignorance on the subject, was simply repeating something i heard

smstonypoint - You are correct, the corporate offices are in Statesville...manufacturing is in Carrolton. As a side note they've attempted to build other Bobcat products in NC before.
