Front-End Loader Who offers skid steer QA bucket for L3400 w/ LA463 FEL

I like my dealer but I beginning to question his knowledge of the CUT.
First off he tells me I should go with Kubota BH75 vs the Woods as it is made specifically for the tractor etc. etc. also the local Woods was not sure if a Woods would fit the Kubota. I agree to go with the BH75, then I am told it only comes in a PTO driven version. For the price I was quoted I agreed to it as well. I pick it up today it’s not PTO driven still thought it was a fair price so I did not complain much... I ask about Kubota QA bucket so I could easily switch from the bucket to the pallet fork... He tells me Kubota does not offer one for the L3400???? Is he correct on this one? I have not had enough time away from work to call any other dealer, going on 42 twelve hour graveyard shifts in a row ....

Hey Chuck,
I've looked into it as well. ATI offers a good QA solution for the L3400. They have an adapter that replaces the bucket interface that gives you a universal skid steer attachment. You can contact ATI for the dealer near you. I wasn't able to find a direct buy for the ATI products.

Kubota has a new QA attachment and bucket for the LA463 loaders on the L2800 and L3400, this has only been offered for a short time so some of the dealers may not be up on it yet, I was looking at the L3400 before I decided on my L3240 and I was dealing on the QA bucket for the LA463 loader but I found some of the dealers had no clue that Kubota now had this offering but after researching it assured me that they did.

Yes.... and Kubota has always had a QA for the L2800/3400, it was just not an option and the dealer had to know what would work.
The L2230A QA coupler that fits on the LA513 for the L3130 also works on the LA463, the 60" bucket needs to be modified by removing the attach points on the back and welding a QA plate on it.

I am sure since they are offering it now as an option they will use this same QA coupler since it is already in inventory and just put QA plates on 60" buckets. Pretty simple

ATI has been building quality Q-tachs for loaders for years. They fit all skid steer hook-ups for forks and buckets. I'd try and match up the bucket for your most common load. For dirt a shallower round back just over the width of the tractor is good. For snow you could use a deeper bucket.
