Who recently posted pix of winch mounts??

Someone recently posted a web link to an ad for a winch mount plate that was very small and compact. It was a 2" square tube with a simple square plate welded on top at the end. The plate appeared about 7"x7" or so with several predrilled mounting holes. The cost was advertised about $39-59??? It was the smallest most compact attaching plate I have found so far. There was no upturned lip at the front for the fairlead roller.

I bought a winch today on e-bay and want to get the plate I saw one of you guys post a picture of. I searched a bunch of recent posts but could not find it.

What winch did you buy ? I am looking into getting a winch and thinking about a venom winch that comes with everything you need.

That pix is very close. Take off the curved upper rail and that is what I remember seeing. That is a Rhino mount from atvpartsdepot. I will buy it if I can't find the other one.

I ended up buying a Warn RT30 for $315. This is the new model. All the other Warn ones have been discontinued 1.5, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, with either a c or i suffix. The drawings of it appear suspiciously like the JD logo version from Warn.

I would have bought the RT40 except the winch specs call for a 550CCA battery to power it. The XUV battery is not that big. The RT30 (3000#) model seemed to be the biggest choice and not be underpowered. Other brands were cheaper, but did not have remotes and cables readily available. The Warn corded remote is now included and is not extra cost.
