16 hours and counting!
On the list of things to do is a pole barn for hay storage which should go up next week. Top of my to do list is grading an area for said barn.
My neighbor said, "Nice tractor, but it ain't a bulldozer. Don't reckon you'll be able to push that Georgia clay 'round like you're wantin' to"
Take a look at the lay of the land and you'll see that there are plenty of hills. I decided to nestle the hay barn in a little valley to protect it from wind and weather.
When I started this was nothing but a grassy slop with some saplings. I should have snapped some before pictures but I think you'll get the idea. Four heaping tandem dump loads of dirt, about 8 hours of seat time and an hour of shovel work.
The site is 25' wide by about 35' deep. The lower area is about the same width but greater depth ... about 50'. The barn will go up top on the pad, and I'm planning on dropping stone on the lower side are for truck and trailer parking.
If anyone is on the fence about buying a L3800 or Kubota for that matter I think this will help you! Love this tractor! :licking:
