Popcorn is grown in fields that are worked by tractors, so there's the connection. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I think I just saw where popcorn counts as a whole grain in the new food pyramid or whatever it's now called. Happy days! I have been known to nearly live on popcorn in lean times...some students lived on tuna and mac and cheese, I lived on popcorn and the occassional visit to the Colonel's when I was feeling rich. I wonder if soaking it with butter adds value? I popped it in a pot back then, 'twas before microwaves replaced all other cooking appliances, and I could get butter pretty cheap, too. I always thought it was amazing how a handfull of grain ended up filling a big pot and then me, for a few cents.
