I'm curious to learn how many other GC23xx,24xx,26xx owners have had to replace a gear pump (powers frnt & rear hydraulics).
My dealer says it's not a common failure.
BUT
They gave me the impression it was a commonly known fact that the drive gear in the tranny is softer than the pump's splined shaft.
AND
That drive gear has since been redesigned so as to add an additional 3/8 or so grab on the pump's shaft.
The parts for a fix set me back $650+
Just thinkin - If Massey knows this to be a design fault........
