Xfaxman, I've noticed the double post problem a few times myself, and I thought I was doing something wrong.

Sometimes I don't catch it right away, and by the time I do the ability to edit my old post is no longer offered. Is that a bug, too?

Sometimes I don't catch it right away, and by the time I do the ability to edit my old post is no longer offered. Is that a bug, too?

Not a bug, there is a time limit on being able to edit. I think it is 24 hours on this site.
