I have a question for you if you have, did the machine seem to hang up on the relief valve or seem slow to recover ? I have the rock drum on mine and for some reason it seems to hit the relief easy and it seems slow for the attachment pump to recover.. I bumped the relief to 5300 and its a little better but still seems to hang a little too long. Oh right, FAE 500U-250 rock drum.

It's fine, apparently according to TC it's only there to absorb spikes in the hydraulic system.

look for the spike relief on the head, it should be at 800psi over the multi-function valve on you carrier. if this check valve is lower or defect the close loop is by-passing until your pressure is under the setting of that valve. good luck.
