Asking for a friend who is looking at a L48 tlb in the mid $30's. I know bobcat comes with many more standard features than the big 3 but I figure the knowledge here could give him a more broad view of a reason to at least consider a bobcat over the kubota. Thank you for the replys
I dont know much about the L48, I did however look at Kubota before I bought my Cat. I felt that the Bobcat had more to offer. I am very satisfied with my purchase, and I would have paid a few thousand more to be in a less equiped Kubota. Have your buddy get the machine that has the best dealer support. That is the big factor.
A Bobcat tractor with an add-on backhoe is not anywhere close to this.
You may get a lot of "features" with a Bobcat Tractor, but if your primary purpose is to dig dirt and move it around, the L48 will still be going after the Bobcat has breathed its last gasp.
If you want to mow and pull with a little digging on the side, the Bobcat will work just fine.
