Why do you make it so hard to attach photos to posts

I belong to several forums and have followed this one for several years. I'm not a big poster but occasionally I do have something to add. For the computer savy I guess it's no problem to attach photos to their posts. For the rest of us (especially me it's almost impossible. I don't understand why TBN would make it so difficult. I won't be posting any more and probably won't be following TBN much in the future.

I have an iPad and I post photos often from it.

Click the Insert Image icon above your post (3rd from the right on mine).
Click the From Computer tab on the menu that comes up.
Click the Choose Files button.
Navigate to the photo album of your choice and select the photo.
Then choose the Upload Files button and up it goes.

I post photos from this iPad frequently.

Compared to a Ham radio forum I frequent, this forum is a breeze. TBN actually hosts photo's.

I just wish I could post PDF files. I routinely convert my photos to PDF. To post here on TBN I have to convert them back to JPEG. Pain in the A.

Convert to JPEG, stick on the desktop, then open insert image and upload fro desktop files. Too many key strokes for something that should be a simple drag and post like everywhere else I go.

On my computer. Select the photo from the "Photo" software program and drag/drop on the desktop. Click on the "insert image" icon at the top of this page( third from the right). Be sure it's in the "from computer" pane. Click - choose file. Click the photo file that appears. Click upload. It's done.

Now from my Apple iPhone XR. I'm just barely able to TAKE photos. Haven't figured out "the Cloud" nor how to send photos anywhere - yet.

All my photos are taken with my small Canon - Power Shot S50 or the larger Canon EOS 5D MK 3. Downloading to the computer is simple.

Click the Insert Images icon


That brings up this screen


Select Choose Files and Photo Library


Choose the Album you want. I chose All Photos


Select the photos you want from that album. I chose Jethro Cyphering, a cop with a gator, and the car from Christmas Vacation.


They'll have checkmarks on them. Then select DONE at the top of that box after selecting and it takes you back to the Insert Image screen.

At that screen, select Upload Files. It's not a highlighted button, so you'd not guess to push that. Push it anyway.


The selected files will upload.
