Why does the South have more posts?

In the Regional forums the South has more posts than all the other regions combined, yet the Northeast has more threads. Why? Could this be because the South has more interesting posts?

Maybe it's because they live so far out in the boonies that they need to use TBN to find another person to communicate with.

Simple answer - Bird and Soundguy are both from the south.
(of course I realize that Soundguy is actually in the southeast but i'm using him any how)
