MDNY,

Wow! That is an impressive house. Is the master bedroom the room over the porch?

What room is on the second floor on the right?

Thanks,
Buck

Hey MDNY, that's very similar to what we will be building this summer. I posted our plans in this thread. I've been making a scale model of the house over the past several weeks. It's a bit crude, but works to visualize some of the spaces. Our builder was most impressed! I'll stick a photo of it out here tonight.

What are you doing for siding and exterior ornamentation? We're still struggling a bit with colors. Cost has dictated vinyl siding but we're not thrilled with the selections so far.

Good luck with your project /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

BUCK: with those photos u answered a million posts asking the question"DO I NEED A FEL?" great job on getting out of the mud. perhaps removing the mmm would have been a good idea BEFORE U STARTED?/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif i hope u gave the poor thing a good bath after what u put it through/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Buck: The turrett roof is the bay window for the masterbedroom. We had to cut cost there so no vaulted ceiling inside the turret, but not realy loss there.

RobS. I saw your plans. Very similar indeed. We are going with Vinyl siding as well, mostly due cost, but honestly, the long term maintenance as well. I have done too many house painting projects (summer jobs) and I don't want to stain either. So we are going with a two tone blue, not sure of shades yet. We are keeping the fish scale in the areas they were originally located.
