Why power-beyond and no hoe?

I've been on the JD website so often lately that I'm starting to look for the TV schedule listings by mistake... and checking for my emails...

My wife says I NEED to get a tractor and a LIFE!?!

Oh well --- it's all for the purpose of knowledge --- and a higher understanding of tractors...

With that in mind; why would Deere offer the new 4105 with a power beyond option and not list a backhoe attachment??

Inquiring minds would like to know!?!

You could put on a hydraulic log splitter, or a hydraulic tiller, or use it for a third function with a 3pt attachment.

Isn't the 4105 the 990 replacement? If it is, then they probably don't have the website up to date. A 990 can have a hoe. The 3105 is replacing the 790.

Its the 3005 that replaces the 790. See post about this in this forum.

I thought the 4005 was the replacement for the 990. Not the 4105. The 005 is a gear tractor and the 105 is a hydro tranny (2 ranges and a mechanical shift; not eHydro).

Could be that Deere hasn't got the web site fully updated. Just real curious that they wouldn't have a backhoe option for the hydro version and as was pointed out --- the 8B hoe option for the 990 er 4005.
